Adult Classes
Rabindra Sangeet is not simply music. It is poetry set to melody, philosophy carried in rhythm, and a connection to a cultural tradition that has shaped Bengali life for over a century. Our adult classes welcome anyone who feels drawn to that world, whether you are picking up music for the very first time, returning after years away, or deepening a practice you have already begun.
Classes go beyond learning the songs themselves. We explore the poetry behind each composition, the stories and seasons that inspired Tagore, and the distinctive musical world of Santiniketan. Learning here means understanding what you are singing, not just how. There is no pressure, no performance anxiety, and no age limit. Just music, meaning and a warm community of fellow learners.
